Do you offer testing and evaluation?

Yes. Lisa Lasater, Ph.D. provides psychological testing and evaluation to meet the specific needs of the client. Lisa’s years of experience as a therapist as well as a Licensed School Psychologist (LSSP) mean she can guide you in determining what type of assessments you need (or if you even need assessment) based on the outcome and information you are seeking.

What can I expect at the first visit?

The first visit is usually considered a diagnostic interview. You will talk with your therapist and share your concerns and needs. The therapist will guide you through a process of questions to determine a therapeutic solution that will work for you.

How can I get started?

Just call us at 512-524-5482 or send an email to Amanda@spectrumsocial.net to let us know you are interested in counseling services. We will talk with you about your situation in a brief phone interview and assign a therapist who matches your needs. Typically, you will receive a service agreement and some enrollment paperwork in advance of your first appointment. Occasionally, you will have your diagnostic interview first then set up ongoing services.
